akustikplus becomes independent again:
With a new ownership structure and familiar leadership, the acoustics specialist at the Stephanskirchen site is positioning itself as an independent company.

Stephanskirchen, 30 June 2026 – akustikplus GmbH & Co. KG is continuing its development at its Stephanskirchen site with an independent structure and clearly defined responsibilities. Hamberger Industriewerke GmbH has sold its shares in akustikplus GmbH & Co. KG, as well as in its general partner, Akustik Plus Verwaltungs GmbH, to Z.R.E. GmbH & Co. KG, which is owned by the Peter Hamberger family. Following completion of the transaction on 30 June 2026, the manufacturer specialising in acoustic elements will continue its path as an independent company.

With the change in ownership, akustikplus becomes legally, economically and organisationally independent of the Hamberger Industriewerke Group and is able to further develop its business activities under its own responsibility. The company’s registered office and business address will remain in Stephanskirchen.

The new management will be assumed by Sebastian Müller, former authorised signatory and Head of Sales and Marketing, together with Dr Peter M. Hamberger, who stepped down as Managing Director of akustikplus on 30 June 2025 and is now returning to the company.

For customers, planners and trade partners, akustikplus remains a reliable contact and an established brand. The existing product portfolio, the experienced team and the proven processes will continue.
