smartline FR: CPL & veneer now also fire-resistant – C-s2, d0 (tested in composite)

With smartline, we combine design and performance in one acoustic panel: a slotted surface, an integrated absorber made from natural wood fibre, and a proven installation concept for everyday project work (tongue-and-groove connection within the absorber, installation using adhesive or a rail system).

New, available now: smartline is now offered in CPL and veneer also as smartline FR (Fire Resistant) – a fire-resistant version classified as C-s2, d0 (tested as a bonded/composite system). This significantly expands the application range of smartline, especially for projects where fire safety requirements strongly influence material selection.

Why fire safety often makes the difference in projects

In many building types, it’s not only about design – the fire classification often determines whether a material can be used at all, for example in corridors and escape routes, schools, kindergartens, administrative buildings, or assembly areas. The right classification ensures acoustic solutions can be specified, approved, and implemented in line with applicable standards.

With smartline fr, the acoustic panel becomes an especially attractive option for public buildings and demanding contract projects—without compromising the design intent.

The same look as always – smartline fr is visually identical to the standard version

For surfaces, you can choose from our standard finishes (including veneer or CPL).

In addition, other CPL and veneer surfaces are possible. For non-standard materials, we recommend a feasibility check in advance to ensure appearance, processing, and final quality.
